Self catering holiday cottage in Melmerby, Yorkshire


		This Yorkshire Dales holiday cottage was originally built as two workers cottages before being converted to form this spacious home which sleeps up to 6 people. Downstairs The front porch/bootroom provides access to the spacious open plan ground floor with exposed stone walls, wooden floors & beams. Creature comforts include TV/DVD, separate music system, CDs and DVDs. A range of games are available for adults and children alike. The dining room centres around the antique oak trestle table and features a well stocked library. The newly fitted kitchen contains fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and hob, toaster, electric kettle and pantry with a second toilet close by. Upstairs An open tread stairway leads to the first floor where there are two generous double bedrooms, two single bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and shower. Three of the four bedrooms enjoy the beautiful south facing view across Coverdale. Each bedroom has been beautifully decorated and there is plenty of storage space. High chair and travel cot are available on request. Outside The laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer is situated in the old coalstore that also provides ample storage for outdoor equipment. The garden is mature, lawned and dog-proof with ample parking for three cars.
